On Desire is a conversation about how human needs and wants effect the health of our planet.
The conversation starts with the following propositions; 1) we can no longer afford to randomly spin the control knobs of the global life support system, 2) each of us can understand and get in accord with Earth by minimizing our individual impact – a.k.a. small footprints, and 3) we can eventually realize the ideal of sustainability – perfect integration of our actions with Gaia’s metabolism.
